I purchased Shimma in cocoa because my legs and arms are covered in dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and uneven patches that have gotten worse over the years. I also got the brush that comes with it you definitely need a good brush to blend and buff it out properly. So far I've worn it on my arms and the lower part of my legs. It was really easy to apply on my arms and buff it out smooth, I waited about 5 minutes for it to set and then got dressed and went out. I was genuinely surprised at how natural it looked and it didn't look like makeup at all, just like my skin on a really good day. It lasted most of the day without transferring which was my biggest concern. My legs took a bit more time, especially around my knees where the darkening is the worst you have to build it up and blend carefully to get that area to match the rest of your leg. But once I got it right the difference was unreal. I'm in my late 40s and between years of shaving bumps, sun damage, and just my skin changing as I get older, my legs have looked patchy and uneven for a long time. I tried brightening creams, exfoliators, even body oils that claim to even your tone nothing actually worked. They'd moisturize but the dark spots were still right there. At first I was genuinely interested in purchasing this product because the ingredients sounded promising, especially arbutin and tranexamic acid. So I decided to do some research (like a responsible human) before spending my money. To my dismay the more I looked into the company, the more concerned I became. Issue 1: The FIRST and biggest issue I found was with the reviews displayed on the company's website. I noticed that multiple reviews were repetitive, I'm talking almost word for word perfection but were attributed to COMPLETELY different people. The exact same testimonials appeared under different names, different ages, and even different star ratings (sketchy sketchy). For example, one review that claimed that dark spots disappeared after two months was posted under several different names. Another review that claimed that they saw results after three weeks appeared multiple times with different names as well. I also found identical reviews discussing sun spots, knees and elbows, and forehead dark patches, all copied and reused with different names. As a potential customer, this instantaneously made me question the authenticity of the reviews. Customer reviews are supposed to help people make informed decisions. If reviews are being duplicated and assigned to different people, it becomes very difficult to know which experiences (if any) are genuine. Issue 2: I also noticed that many of the promotional product images appear to be AI-generated or heavily digitally rendered instead of using the actual photographs of the product. I understand thats using rendered images isn't necessarily wrong but when combined with questionable testimonials, it doesn't really inspire confidence. I then checked Trustpilot and found a low TrustScore along with complaints from other customers regarding customer service and their overall experience. After seeing this and in addition to my own findings convinced me not to place an order. I'm not writing this review to claim that the product itself does or doesn't work because I never actually purchased it. My concern is with the company's marketing practices and transparency. I believe customers deserve authentic reviews and honest advertising so they can make informed decisions with their money. I honestly hope the company fixes these concerns by removing duplicate testimonials, verifying customer reviews, and being more transparent in the future. Until then, I personally don't feel comfortable purchasing from this brand.

Mes jambes ont pris un peu plus de temps, surtout autour des genoux où le foncé est le plus marqué — il faut construire par couches et estomper soigneusement pour que cette zone soit assortie au reste de la jambe. Mais une fois que j'ai trouvé le bon geste, la différence était irréelle. J'ai la fin de la quarantaine et entre des années de boutons de rasage, les dégâts du soleil, et juste ma peau qui change avec l'âge, mes jambes ont l'air tachetées et irrégulières depuis longtemps. J'ai essayé des crèmes éclaircissantes, des exfoliants, même des huiles pour le corps qui prétendent unifier le teint — rien n'a vraiment marché. Ça hydratait, mais les taches foncées étaient toujours là. C'est pour ça que je suis passée à ça. Ça n'essaie pas de changer ta peau, ça fait juste que tout soit assorti et uniforme. Pour les taches vraiment tenaces à l'intérieur des cuisses, je fais une deuxième couche et je l'estompe, et ça se fond parfaitement. J'en suis à mon deuxième flacon et ma sœur me l'emprunte tout le temps, donc il faut que je lui en prenne un à elle.

Bought this honestly expecting nothing. Weeks 1-2, nothing, here we go again. Week 4 I noticed the smaller spots looking lighter. Week 8 my husband asked what was different about my face. I'm at 3 months now and the big stubborn one near my jaw is almost gone too. The difference is this is actually strong enough. Everything else I tried was clearly too weak for my skin. Just be consistent, morning and night, every day.
